  I used to work here because it was my favorite place to shop. I would come in before I had gotten hired and I would spend tons of money with them. I lived inside of this particular LANE BRYANT, the staff loved me so much that they asked me to join the team. I mean seriously how can you say NO to such a beautiful team? So I happily applied for the job, right away I was hired and I got straight to work. I was pregnant at the time and well into the job I was placed on bed rest (complications with the twins) so I had to step down. After, the babies I went back to shopping at my favorite store and the staff were still in love with me so sure enough they asked me to reapply, and I did! This time there were many new faces and one in particular teammates seemed to be irritated by my pure existence. I mean if I asked a question I got a side eye, if I did someone wrong I had it thrown in my face, and when I would simply be nice and smile I got a blank stare. It was truly uncomfortable. This silently bothered me. Now fast forward to the reason I am writing this post. After a while I had to resign again only this time it was because my kids ended up getting very sick ( one of my twins has Wolf Parkinson's white syndrome) which is a hear condition and I needed to put my focus and energy back on him. However, I took the correct steps to my resignation because at the end of the day I am a very responsible person. However, when I entered my favorite place to shop which is lane bryant (the one I worked for) in the Orland Square Mall, I wasn't greeted or asked if I needed any help, I was politely a shirt to the fitting room in and checked on in a few mins, I received no smiles or help, and when I decided not to buy anything because I JUST DID NOT FEEL WELCOMED OR WANTED IN THE STORE... I was told to have a nice day or come back and see us again. I had to sit back and ask myself why and I knew exactly why my experience that day was just TRASHED, because I walked in on the day that my one particular teammate was working and running the store. There was no use of complaining about it to management since she was part of management. Thanks Lane Bryant for showing me your true colors.
